A safe, decent home is a basic human right, but it is a right that many people in the Twin Cities do not have. In fact, nearly half of families with incomes under
$35,000 are paying more than they can afford for housing, with little room for necessities like health care, education, and proper financial assistance. About 10,000 individuals are left homeless in
Minnesota every night without a stable community. On April 13th, the University of Minnesota will raise $60,000 to build a home in the Twin Cities.
